ENGLISH 

A big tree with long flexible branches, red-brown and fluffy in their youth, which can fall to the ground. It produces in February-March, yellow flowers in catkins (males), very decorative. They are carried in abundance by the wood still bare. Its foliage, elongated on 8-10 cm and slightly toothed, is dark green, with a light green underside. It turns yellow in autumn.

un arbre de grand développement à rameaux souples, rouge brun et duveteux dans leur jeunesse, pouvant retomber jusqu’au sol. Il produit en février-mars, des fleurs jaunes en chatons (mâles), très décoratives. Elles sont portées en abondance par le bois encore nu. Son feuillage allongé sur 8 à 10 cm et légèrement denté, est vert foncé, avec un revers vert clair. Il devient jaune en automne.
